Decent mics for the money...
The mics sound good. They take two AA batteries each, and I get about 8 hours of good use before I have to change the batteries. The outputs for the system are 1/4" TRS. I would rather have seen XLR outputs here.Volume Control: I can set both channels up identically both on the base unit and the mixer, but have two different volume levels out of each microphone. That can be a little frustrating for KJ that's trying to dial in sound for singers during a karaoke show. All in all: I'm completely satisfied with the purchase.

Great sounding mikes!
I had another set of wireless mikes (Martin Ranger) but I was not happy with the sound quality (tinny, picked up air movement, distorted). The VocoPro mikes are much better and I can hold the mike closer to my mouth without getting the air movement hiss. The Martin Ranger mikes had the charging port right on the end and you place them vertically on the receiver to charge while not in use. I miss that feature! But, the batteries last a long time if you remember to turn them off as soon as you stop singing.I really like the look and feel of the VocoPro mikes. Overall a very good product.

Great Handheld wireless mics
I bought these for my church and have been using them for almost a year now. It was very easy to connect and required minimal knowledge of audio equipment. It did come with regular batteries that lasted a decent amount, although we do not use them a ton. Now I use rechargeable batteries and generally only get maybe 15-30 minutes of use/week, but I rarely have to change batteries (Usually only after someone leaves it on overnight or something).Reception has been great, these are usually used at least 50-60 ft from the receiver and I have never had an issue. It does take a bit to get used to holding these as they do not have as much audio pickup as other mics, but as long as you are speaking normally it is fine.Overall a good set of handheld wireless mics that should serve you well.

Didn't work out of the box
I bought this item and the first time I tried it I was at a friends house and one of the mic's didn't work. I didn't have the time to investigate the problem right then since I have another mic that I use almost all of the time when I by myself practicing. By the time I wanted to take it somewhere where I really needed the dual mic's it still didn't work and my time had passed to return it. My own fault. I took it apart and discovered both of the wires was broken that connected them to the circuit board so I re soldered them and it still didn't work. I thought maybe I reversed the wires so I took the other one apart to see how the wires were connected and one of the wires broke when i took it apart. I re soldered that one and it worked but still can't get the other to work. These mic's are obviously very cheaply made. I have to admit I do like the sound. The other draw back is it only comes with one cable so you are stuck using them with only one volume controlling both mic's or buy another cable. I couldn't find the cable I needed but wound up not needing it since only one worked. Now I need to buy another dual mike system and it won't be a Voco Pro. A couple of hundred bucks down the drain. I guess you get what you pay for (sometimes). I tried calling support but was put on hold for quite sometime so I hung up.

great sound for the money
I bought these mics for use at conferences to avoid insane hotel fees. I like the solid feel, excellent sound quality, flexible outputs, independent controls, and quiet reception. My only problem was that one of the mics started making strange clicking sounds and then died right in the middle of a lecture--a dead battery after just a couple of hours. Don't use the batteries that come with it, and install new ones before each important event.

I think they sound better than all the other KJs in town
I used a pair of these every week doing karaoke for about 5 years. Finaly one of them was damaged by a singer and I had to buy a new pair. I went for the same ones. The price is low and the quality is high. I think they sound better than all the other KJs in town. Another KJ went out and bought himeself a set after trying mine. He likes them too. The AA batteries last for months and are easy to change.

Broken - twice
I purchased this mic system about 1.5 yrs ago and one of the mics went out. I bought another unit and one of the mics didn't work out of the box, so I had to send it back for a replacement. Amazon did a great job sending the other unit right a way, which worked fine. The system, when working, works well. Sound quality is good and the mics have a good feel to them. Just disappointed that I had to buy a replacement unit, plus, send a brand new unit back for the same issue. This makes me worry about the future of the new unit. Time will tell.
