PB Style Custom Demon Bass Guitar

This guitar looks good and sounds good. We bought it to support my sons additional instrument at school. He plays electric guitar but needs to learn bass as a second instrument for him exams. It was a great price to allow him the opportunity to practice bass at home.

I ordered this guitar as my son wanted a black and red bass guitar, when this arrived, the box was open and battered and when I took the bass out, it was a brown color and you can't see the red on it at all!! I would not recommend this product to anyone!

I bought this bass guitar as an entry level instrument as I had always wanted to play bass guitar, and whilst I still have a certain nostalgia for this guitar I feel I must warn other buyers. Firstly the guitar is heavy, I mean really heavy, compared to other lower priced Basses out there you really do feel the weight of this. Secondly the neck is a little too wide, after some months of learning on this bass I took the plunge and bought myself a Ibanez SdGr bass and the difference was amazing. My playing came on leaps and bounds after playing the lighter, sleeker Ibanez. Thirdly the guitar is long and quite cumbersome, so if this is being bought for a child or young teenager to learn the will find it more of a challenge to learn on. I recently took this to cash converters to sell and they offered me £10 for it and it is in mint condition, so that gives you an idea of its standing in the music world. As I said I do feel nostalgia for it and do occasionally play it but would have got to the skill I have now a lot quicker with a better guitar!

I chose the 3 stars mainly because of the fast delivery BOTH times. I originally bought this product back in September, unfortunately it arrived with a default in the tone knob, by which I mean that the knob wobbled around and after about 5 weeks ( and only amping it twice so there was only two times the tone know was even touched) it actually turned 360 degrees. I sent that one back and I have received a new one which works as it should.

Bought as a gift-great sound, handles well. Efficient service and a good price.

I've had this bass for 5 months now and it hasn't put a foot wrong plus the original strings are still holding up, a beautiful instrument that I would highly recommend to anyone starting out.

Daughter pleased with her purchase of this bass guitar, but was disappointed that it did not look as the picture showed, instead of the red that stands out and can be seen , it is actually brown and dull and hard to see the design .
