Amazing Scanner
I run an auto shop and work on all types of vehicles, so I needed a durable and versatile scan tool. At first, I didn't quite understand the difference between the Autel MS908S PRO Il and the MK908 Pro ll, so l reached out to Autel. Turns out, the MS908S PRO Il is an older version. After watching a few YouTube videos, I confirmed that the MK908 Pro ll was the right choice for me.As soon as I received it, I started using it, and after a few days, l can confirm it works just as advertised. The MK908 Pro ll offers excellent long-range wirelessconnectivity, allowing me to move freely within 800 feet without any cables. It's incredibly convenient! The speed is amazing, with almost no lag when waiting for the program to respond. I use it regularly for oil resets on European cars, EPB,battery resets, brake bleeds, and more. The functions are straightforward and easy to use. The VCM connection is quick, and it didn't take long to program the ECU on a BMW. My friend with an MS909 was with me and said the MK908P ll has the same features but is much cheaper. Both my friend and I highly recommend this tool for anyone needing a reliable and powerful diagnostic tool!

Helps me with DIY
I was able to reprogram the ECU on my BMW, which saved me a trip to the dealership and a lot of money. The tool's Qualcomm 660 processor and 4GB RAM work well, making everything run smoothly. It's a bit pricey, but I really like DIY car repairs, so it's a great investment for the long run.

Does the job well
I like how fast it is and that it came with the cables for BMW. I work in a professional shop and use it on all makes and models. It allows you to put some used modules in cars where oem software will not. There are some things it won’t do that oem software will do but it is much faster to use in most situations. It works just as good as some of the more expensive autels in the shop. It will not do in depth key and immobilizer stuff like the IM series but I find it does seem to have software that works better than the more expensive ones on BMW.This tool will run most factory tests and resets ect. It’s easy to navigate. You can also use eobd to get generic data and emissions data/monitors.Just a note, this is a professional tool and you will eventually need a yearly subscription for updates and online coding/programming features. That is the way of the world now. There are multiple updates available every week. The subscription does go on sale occasionally and it is a good idea to get it when on sale as it is quite expensive. It’s better than snap on I feel. In the shop we have 4 different makes of scan tool and 8+ tools total. There’s easily 20 k in scan tools. Easily 8k a year to keep the tools all current. We use them all. They all have a use. I always grab my autel and usually it does what I need. We have 4 autels in the shop. Overall a great product for a great price.

Very bad
I bought my equipment yesterday 02/20/2024 and it came with an expired license, apparently someone had already used this equipment and I made a purchase of a new device, also in the publication of this product it says that with this equipment you can program and encode and which is false, it does not have the option to encode modules (for example abs module) I attach the photograph where it says that it can be encoded with the Module

Great tool for any DIY or shop owner
Have been using the MK908P for over 6 months now and have been very pleased with the purchase. Besides offering in-depth faults that were never picked up by other basic OBD2 scanners, this tool successfully reprogramed numerous MB and BMWs when installing new modules and repairing CBUS issues. The only downside to the unit is the fact that it is so capable ad you can get yourself deep into functions without understanding the purpose or risks if you're not careful by just accepting the main selection options. Overall, this is a very capable tool that is well versed in any professional's toolbox. The price and functionality cannot be beat when compared to other brands.

Awesome scanner!! Saved me $$$$ already!
Just letting you guys know that I'm a Master Technician and shop owner for over 15 years. The most sophisticated scanner I own is the 2009 ver. of the Snapon Modis which is a great scanner but it became obsolete. With the Maxisys I was a little skeptical with it...cause i have a thing with Chinese made products...but after researching and viewing videos on this scanner...I was sold with it's functions. When I received it let me tell you...I am impressed as soon as I opened the box. The first thing I like the weight and size of it. It's light and very comfortable moving around especially that it's bluetooth...wow done with cables! Next I read people reviewing about disappointments on the updating...it was not as long as they say...I'm connected to cable modem and the update took just 1hr 1/2 and in the afternoon. I did it Ethernet instead if Wifi to make it faster. So I believe those people had connectivity issues. Now the best part, the speed of this thing...incredible. Wow the booting up, the ease of touch screen...it feels like navigating through my Samsung S6. I've had this for a week...it it already saved me money. I had a 2016 LandRover RangeRover that needed a rear brake repair...when it came time for the repair, I had no knowledge it had electronic parking brake...so I almost thought I was going to lose that job till I checked to see If the Maxisys had the electronic brake release feature...and shocking it did!! I was so happy! Next job I had was a 2009 Hyundai Sonata 4cyl, complaint was it had a 2-1 rough downshift...found there's a recall that needed to be reprogrammed on these symptoms...guess what...this thing has a Transmission ECU reset feature...and it worked! Unbelievable! I'm very happy with this and also glad I didn't go as far as investing in Snapon or Matco products. It's good enough for me!
