The only reasonably priced fix
This is the way to go to fix these. Google the how to. Tricks: get something shallow to hold the torque bit to remove and tighten the screws; get a mirror to see what you are working on; drill the holes in this a little bigger so the screws fit in easily (do this by eye, don't test fit the screws in the regulator without it being installed or you will crack the plastic). If this is your first time and the car is older, get the plastic clip-pins for the door panel because no matter how careful you are they will break.

Saved big $$ but be careful during install
Dealer quoted me $160 for a new window regulator on my B6 Audi S4, I paid $8 w/ shipping for this clip. A couple hours later of wrenching and I saved $150 by doing it myself.This clip is exactly what you will need to replace the faulty orange clips on Audi & VW regulators.-2 stars for holes that are too small for regulator clip screws. BE SURE to drill out barely smaller than the same size as your screws BEFORE you install otherwise you'll have the same problem I had. Mine cracked even though I drilled out the same diameter as the screw minus the teeth. Go with a bigger pilot hole than you think you might need.-1 star for lame instructions. The instructions say to go to their website. Then the website sends you to a post on Audizine forums. This is dumb. The post on Audizine suggests you take the entire window apart. NO. You can do this by just getting the door panel off and the sound barrier. Roll the window down about 9 inches and you will have enough room to work with inside the door frame. Don't spend the extra hours taking the entire window assembly off.Seller should do their own instructional material and include with the item.

Save yourself some money.
Worked great! Just pull your window regulator out and see if this is the culprit before spending more on a full window regulator.
