this was the right size for a small room but a little disappointed in the quality of how it was made. I feel it was a bit overpriced for how it is made.

The look is beautiful. The only thing I really have a problem with is that it is a little wobbly on the bottom part of the globe, probably won't be putting drinks in it for that reason. You do have to put it together, it comes in pieces so you will have to hammer in a couple of pieces and I had to drill the holes a little bit bigger, it wasn't hard to put together but keep that in mind. I got it for Valentines Day for my boyfriend, He loves it, but if I were to buy another one, I'd pay an extra $15 and get one with a 3 leg stand. I picked this one because I thought it might be taller than the other one and I didn't want my 3 year old getting into it. The map did start detaching from the globe after about 6 months when we moved to a more humid area, we used a modge lodge spray to stick it back on. If you live in a mildly humid place you should be fine, but if you live in a pretty humid place, I'd just modge lodge it first, or keep it in a room that stays cool. Our messed up in the moving truck.
