Decent, Update: Full refund received
My hair is long, thick, coarse, wavy and generally unruly. I've been looking for good sharp shears to trim my hair at home to keep split ends at bay. These do get the job done. However I did experience a few problems. These are sharp but not all the way through the blades. Upon clear inspection I saw little scratches down the blade and there's a small space between the blades when look from the top, which could be affecting the perfomance. Also when I was cutting my hair the shears made weird noises (hard to explain but I can only describe it as when paper gets stuck between blades of dull scissors, which could be my hair getting stuck in some parts of the blade). Also my fingers were sore after 5 mins, not the most comfortable grip.Update: The people at Rough Stache were kind enough to contact me and offer full refund. Impressed by how they care for their customers and their satisfaction. Would not hesitate to shop with them again.

Unfortunately, it's Made in China (listing description says 'Japanese steel' - this is a lie)
The scissors arrived today. The white label on the back of the black box says "Made in China." This was highly disappointing to me, because the product description in the Amazon listing clearly states that it's made of "Japanese steel." This means the listing description was (and still is as of today) deceptive and inaccurate. No where did it mention "China" even once.So if you are considering buying this product and you didn't know this, well now you know. This is just another unfortunate example of Chinese products trying to mislead consumers to think that they are from somewhere else.As for this product itself, I can tell that it's not going to last long. The joint that holds the two pieces together isn't very well made - it has just arrived today and there is a minor wobble already. I value this product at $15 and I would not recommend anyone to pay more than $15 for this.If you want quality barber scissors, the search term you will want to use is "German barber scissors" or "Japanese barber scissors." Those are where the highest quality steelcrafts come from.

Great purchase.
My daughter is a barber and I purchased these as a spare to have at home so she didn't have to remember to bring hers home when she cut my hair. She was so delighted with them and actually likes them as much as her Hanzo's . She liked them so much that she took them to work we her. So we purchased a second pair.

Not Bad
As a professional and educator, I bought these so I could test some affordable shears and refer my students. These shears are great for cutting hair wet, they are okay cutting dry. These are not quite sharp enough to really apply texture to the hair when its dry. Over all this is a decent shear. I look forward to seeing this company improve on their products and come out with some pretty amazing stuff. Cheers!

Great weight, very sharp, great people
I loved the costumer service with Rough Stache! I gave these as a gift to a barber and this is what he said!"Rough Stache shears are quality shears for a good price. They have a good weight, cut straight through the hair (skin too if your not careful), and they feel great when they are in my hand! I will recommend to all of my barber family."Great company and quality product.

Great quality
As ChillOnLake's wife who is now tasked with keeping his hair short because he's tired of running to the barber every couple weeks, I ordered these scissors. Love them! They sure cut more swiftly than our old ones, and are as sharp as any scissors I've ever used. Perfect size. Quality feel, quality look that begins with the box. My only question is how are we supposed to use that disc-tool included? No instruction came with it. I assume it's for somehow adjusting the tension.

So far so sharp.
I've had these for about 3 months now, and they feel as sharp as the first day. They look great and feel even better. No wonder why they are always sold-out. I would recommend.

Excellent, well made and sharp!!
The shears surpassed all my expectations. They have very comfortable grip, they are convenient to work with and extraordinary sharp! This is how barber's shears ought to be! At first I thought the finger holes were a little small, but once I used the scissors, I found they were perfectly sized for holding them correctly. .By the way, maybe everyone already knows this but I just found out that the correct way to hold these is to rest your little (pinky) finger on the finger rest, put your ring finger into the opening, and have the other two fingers on the arm above the opening. This way you get a firmer hold and more control.I especially like the tension adjustment and the box ( Professional - Japanese style).Highly recommended.Total worth it, you will not be disappointed!!

I’m very pleased with this product. I accidentally purchased 2 instead of one. Requested a return, got an answer back from seller the next day, saying that I could keep the second item and I would also get a refund.Great customer service.
