Must not buy
Absolutely not safe for a new born. I went to put him in the base and his head just fell forward and there is absolutely no way to get him to hold it back. Base dips into the seat to much! Absolutely hate it and wish I could return.

Saftey Concerns
The car seat base in this system is poorly made. When attaching the base in my vehicle it sits at an angle and does not have the adjustability to move. I put my newborn in and the car seat sat nearly upright causing her head to continuously fall forward and is unsafe for infants that cannot hold their heads up yet.
