FPE-INTAKEHORN Intake Horn (01-04 GM Duramax 6.6L LB7 High Flow LB7)

Noticeably bigger than stock. It comes painted black. The slots for the two lower screws made it much easier to install. Comes with a gasket.I installed on an 03 duramax with California EGR. Was a challenge getting the old one out as the passenger bolt was a struggle. After breaking it loose I had to use long tweezers to take it off since a wrench or fingers won’t fit the tiny gap. The fleece went on easy and fit just fine even with EGR. I installed a spectre cold air intake at the same time and now the turbo whistles like crazy. Sounds awesome. Added power and lowered EGT’s as well.

Great product for price. I noticed a tiny bit of throttle response and a bit of a sound change over stock. I hear more of the whistle that people seek out. I added a picture of it installed as well as a picture compared to stock. I know some people complain of install. And honestly wasn’t bad. I used a box end ratcheting wrench and was able to get them all. All in all about 20 minute job. I installed mine on an 04 LB7.

Exactly what my 2004 lb7 duramax needed. Turbo spools up quicker, and I actually calculated 1 mpg better fuel economy.Tools: 10 mm ratchet wrench, 1/4 inch extensions with knuckle + 10 mm socket, extended magnet and or long needle nose pliers.Took about 45 minutes due to wrangling up the right tools.Worth the buy!

Its everything I expected. Comes with a new gasket. The milling aka porting matches the outer turbo ring to a exact fit.

2002 LB7 looks nicer compared to stock have.

This does fit on an EGR LB7. Removing the A/C compressor makes it possible.
