It makes one part of an aggravating job simple.
If you need to remove and replace a door spring this tool makes it simple. I've replaced a broken one without the tool, using a vise and 4 zip ties and it wasn't too difficult but I'm not sure if I could get one out without this tool. It isn't a one or two use tool either; it should last until I lose it.

The Only Solution Possible, when it comes to those bullet proof springs in car door hinges that must be moved to replace aging door hinge pins... works great when you figure it out.

Take your time and be patient , a compressed spring can be dangerous.
It did exactly what I needed it to do. The shop wanted 250 dollars to put the new pins in the door. With this, the new pins and the help of a friend we got the job done. I saved over two hundred dollars and my door shuts like it should. Watch a few videos of how to do this before you try it.
